Sometimes a promo in the traditional sense isn’t the right approach. It all depends on the final goal for the film – finding out the aims and objectives of our clients and their projects comes top of our list. We can then help advise on the best way forward with a project. For this film for KMPT NHS we had to film three journey’s through the NHS but couldn’t identify patients. To save making a film of obscured identities we produced a narrative film. This not only got across the information required but also helped give us room to play with the way the audience connects with the piece emotionally as we could visually show more situations.
This approach wouldn’t be right for every project and company but that’s why we always look at the required outcomes and advise accordingly.
